AARP Driver Safety Program - Refresher Class
Organization: Westmoreland County Community College
Description: The class, arranged to refine existing skills and develop safe, defensive driving techniques, is sponsored by the American Association of Retired Persons. Under Pennsylvania law, drivers 55 and over who complete this program are eligible for a 5-percent auto insurance discount. If both husband and wife drive, both are required to take the course to be eligible for the discount. Participants must have an accident-free record for three years.

This is a one-day refresher class. You must have previously completed the 8-hour class to qualify for the 5-percent auto insurance discount.

Registration is required. A fee of $12 per person for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers to cover the cost of books and material.
