2012-2013 Concert Series

Description: Oboist Andrea Ridilla, a native of Latrobe, will open the 2012-2013 Saint Vincent College Concert Series at 8 p.m. Saturday, September 8 in the Robert S. Carey Student Center Performing Arts Center. She will be accompanied by Yoland Collin on the piano

Ms. Ridilla is an internationally-acclaimed oboist who grew up in Latrobe.

Her program will include Madeleine Dring’s Three Piece Suite, Camille Saint-Saens’ Sonate pour hautbois et piano, Mario Lombardo’s Concerto for Oboe and Piano in One Movement, Jean-Baptiste Loeillet’s Sonata in C Major, Amílcare Ponchielli’s Capriccio and Ennio Morricone’s Gabriel’s Oboe.

Admission is $25 for adults and $15 for students. They may be purchased online at http://concertseries.stvincent.edu, by calling 724 805-2565, or at the door on concert evenings.

Season tickets, flex passes, and group rates are also available.

A dinner concert package, A Classic Evening at Saint Vincent, is offered for $50 with advance reservations.

Continuing this season is a complimentary shuttle service between the parking areas and the performing arts center.
