Free Flu Shots for Food Pantry Patrons

Description: Excela Health will help Westmoreland County Food Bank recipients say "Boo to the Flu" by offering free flu shots at local pantries during their regularly scheduled food distribution locations in November.

This longtime partnership encourages food bank participants and their families to improve their health and well-being while fending off this highly communicable illness.

Locally, the vaccine schedule is as follows:

Nov. 3, 9:30 to 11 a.m. - Our Lady of Grace, Hempfield Township

Nov. 5, 2 to 5 p.m., - Cornerstone Ministries, 2200 Cornerstone Lane, Export

Nov. 9, 10 to 11 a.m., First United Methodist Church, Greensburg

Nov. 13, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., St. Vincent Grove, Unity Township

Nov. 17, 8:30 to 10 a.m., St. Michael of the Valley, Rector

Nov. 20, 9 to 10:30 a.m., Church of God, Mount Pleasant

Nov. 21, 9 to 11 a.m., AV Germano Hall, Derry
