2013 The AVOO Experience
Organization: Latrobe- GLSD Parks & Recreation
Description: LUP&R, in partnership with The Absolute Value of One, will offer a camp for youth ages 5 to 12. Based on the concept of service learning, participants will truly come to understand the plight of homelessness by looking at it from a mathematical perspective. The week-long program consists of interactive academic activities, team building games, guest speakers, and one day of community service. It is guaranteed to be a rewarding experience for all participants!

Session 1: 6/17 to 6/21 ~ Register by 6/3
Topic: Generations in Touch

Session 2: 7/24 to 7/28 ~ Register by 6/3
Topic: Poverty, Hunger and Homelessness

Sessions run Monday through Friday - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
