Birthday Party for "Pixelsaurus"
Organization: Ligonier Valley Library
Description: The Ligonier Valley Library will throw a birthday party to celebrate the library's dinosaur,"Pixelsaurus" and its ten years of residence in the library. The event will begin with a cake cutting at 10 a.m.

Children in grades kindergarten through third are invited to sign up for a special program beginning 10:30 a.m. presented by the Carnegie Science Center. The program will include the creation of a cast of a fossil, a dinosaur "survival" game, and the Magic School Bus story about dinosaurs.

A second program for children in grades fourth through sixth will begin 1:30 p.m. and will include an excavation of fossils, fossil casts, and an investigation of the timeline in dinosaur history.

Both programs are free and open to the public, however, seating is limited and pre-registration is required.
