Lecture Series on Personal Financial Planning

Description: Saint Vincent College Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics and Government has announced that it will present a special two-part public education series on current financial issues.
The series will open with two specialists from the Allegheny Conference on Community Development discussing economic development in the Pittsburgh region at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at the Fred M. Rogers Center on campus. The speakers will be Dennis Yablonsky, chief executive officer, and Laura Fisher, senior vice president of workplace and special projects.
Admission is free but pre-registration is requested by calling the Office of Event and Conference Services at 724-805-2177.
Both of the sessions will start at 7:30 p.m. and conclude by 8:45 p.m. The lecture segment will be 50 minutes followed by a 25-minute question and answer session.
The second event will feature James Meredith, executive vice president of Hefren-Tillotson, who will lead a personal financial planning roundtable at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10.
The series is directed by Dr. Nicholas Racculia, assistant professor of finance.
