The Alternative Financing Forum
Organization: Small Business Development Center
Description: Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center is once again hosting a popular event designed to assist companies in securing funds that are available for their business start-up, growth and expansion. The Alternative Financing Forum will be held on Thursday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Saint Vincent. The event is co-sponsored by the Economic Growth Connection of Westmoreland County.

As many traditional lending sources continue to tighten their credit standards, entrepreneurs are finding it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to secure much-needed capital. The Alternative Financing Forum brings together lending professionals from numerous non-profit and government agencies dedicated to making capital available to businesses. In the morning, experienced financing representatives will provide an overview of the financing programs and diverse lending perspectives. After lunch, they will be available to meet with attendees to discuss individual needs. The SBDC strongly encourages all businesses seeking permanent or working capital to attend this essential forum.

Registration for the event is required by contacting the Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center at 724-537-4572 or www.stvincent.edu/sbdc. The fee for the workshop is $45, which includes workshop materials, continental breakfast and lunch.
