Program on Energy Production and Local Food Enterprises
Organization: Saint Vincent College
Description: A program about the impact of energy development and food production enterprises in southwestern Pennsylvania will be presented by the Saint Vincent College Environmental Awareness Club, Tri-Beta National Biological Honor Society and Communications Club at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 8 at the Fred M. Rogers Center on the campus of Saint Vincent College. Admission is free and open to the public.

Speakers will be Don Kretchmann of the Kretchmann Family Farm in Pittsburgh, a 1971 graduate of Saint Vincent College who operates an organic farm, and Kirsi Jansa, a documentary filmmaker who will discuss her documentary films about the effect of energy development on farm production.
