2014 Bus Trip - West Overton & More Tour

Description: We will visit West Overton Village, the birthplace of Henry Clay Frick and site of the Old Overholt Whiskey distillery. West Overton Village is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and consists of eighteen buildings which include exhibits of coal mining, coke works and whiskey making. The beautiful, historically-renovated homestead from the 1800s overlooks a beautiful garden area where you will enjoy a delicious, catered lunch.
Next on our agenda is a trip to the Lenox Factory Outlet, 402 E. Main St., Mount Pleasant on the site of the old Lenox Factory to score some deals on their famous crystal and china. After our shopping extravaganza we will make a stop at Sandhill Berries/Greendance Winery for a tour and sampling of their delicious treats.
Depart Latrobe Memorial Stadium at 9 a.m. and return at 4:30 p.m.
