Description: This annual event commemorates the October 12, 1758 battle between British and French forces during the French and Indian War. There will be artillery demonstrations followed by battle reenactments on Saturday and Sunday. Journey back in time to an eighteenth century fort community.
The three-day festival features a major community parade, sidewalk sales, musical entertainment, crafts, food booths and battle re-enactments at Fort Ligonier. Craft booth hours will be Friday and Saturday - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday - 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Food booth hours will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday; 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The parade will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Fireworks will be held Saturday night at 8:45 p.m. Please check website for a complete schedule of activities.
Craft loop shuttle bus service will run among the craft display areas from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Chairs are not to be set out prior to 6 p.m. Friday for parade viewing. Pets are not allowed in the festival area. Please, no backpacks or open containers.
Merchant sidewalk sales begin Thursday. Traffic will be restricted and detoured in the Diamond area Thursday evening to allow for the setting up of food booths.
