Ligonier Ice Fest
Organization: Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce
Description: Visitors will see ice sculptures carved and set up in front of businesses. Carving starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday. Horse and Buggy rides will be available, weather permitting.

The Kettle Korn Man will be selling popcorn and area merchants will hold indoor sidewalk sales.

Saturday there will be a Free Concert by "Glass City Swing Band" at 2 p.m. in the Town Hall auditorium. The concert will be held on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. The Ligonier Valley Library will host a Story Hour and activities for children starting at 2 p.m. Saturday at the library.

At 3 p.m. on Saturday, Ligonier Theater will hold a Winter Chill Chaser with wine tastingt, homemade soups, breads and live music.

Ligonier Volunteer Hose Co. no. 1 will serve a spaghetti dinner beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Town Hall Community Room.

At 2 p.m. Sunday there will be a Speed Carving Contest on the Diamond.

Lunch specials and warm drinks will also be available in the many area coffeehouses and restaurants.
