Colonial Summer Camp
Organization: Westmoreland County Historical Society
Description: The Westmoreland County Historical Society will sponsor a Colonial Summer Camp at Historic Hanna's Town throughout the summer. The Colonial Camp is designed for elementary students between the ages of 7 and 12 (approximately second through fifth grade). The students will have the opportunity to learn more about the lives of children on the Pennsylvania frontier during the late 18th century. Campers will be engaged by the toys and games of the colonial era, the popular music of the time, open hearth cooking, Native American Life and much more.
Fee for members is $125 and $150 for non-members.
