Summer Reading Program
Participants can register to hear or read books this summer and have a chance to win incentives and prizes!

Summer activities will include:

  • Jim the Baker from Dainty Pastry decorating cakes
  • It's a bird...it's a plane...it's a bug!?! presented by the Carnegie Museum of Natural History
  • Queenie Bees and her puppets
  • Skating Party at Latrobe Skating Center
  • Magic shows, crafts, storytimes, and much more!

Clubs:
Read-to-MeaThe Read-To-Me Club is open to all children who aren’t yet reading on their own. Participants will be eligible to enter prize drawings each time they listen to 30 minutes of stories.
Summer ReadingThe Summer Reading Club is open to all children who read on their own. Participants will be eligible to enter prize drawings when they come back to the Library to report on the books they've read. The more time spent reading, the more chances to win!
TeensTeen Readers is open to anyone who reads mainly from the Young Adult Collection. Participants will be eligible to enter prize drawings when they come back to the Library to report on the books they've read. The more time spent reading, the more chances to win!
