Rural Development


Federal government agency that provides a variety of programs to assist rural communities and rural areas in developing sustainable communities and improving the quality of life. Creation of viable new and improved businesses and cooperatives in rural America is a top priority of Rural Development. Programs are also available to finance single family home purchase and repairs, community facilities, water and sewer loans and grants to communities. Each program has its own eligibility requirements that may be obtained through Jill Taylor at the local Rural Development office or our website.
