Westmoreland Library Network

Adams Memorial Library and its branches will be joining 20 libraries in Westmoreland County (for a complete list, see below) to create Westmoreland Information Network, a special project funded by Westmoreland Now and Forever Fund of the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County, the Richard King Mellon Foundation and a grant through Library Services and Technology Act of Pennsylvania.

What is changing?

Everything! Just like the Allegheny County Library System, eiNetwork, you will have access to materials from participating libraries in one Catalog. You can search, place requests, have items sent to a library of your choosing, keep a reading list and more. All from the comfort of your home, the library or world wide - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What do I need to do to join?

Nothing. Your account will automatically be transferred to the new system. And, we'll give you a new WLN card, accepted at any participating library. If you have a non-WLN card from another participating library, we will consolidate them into one WLN card. We may ask for additional information to complete the re-registration process.

What can I do with my new WLN card?

You can borrow materials from any participating library and access your account online.
