Virtual Event: Financial Literacy For Families

It’s time for a meal AND a unique WQED Education pilot program – all about Financial Literacy for Families! Participating families will receive an Eat n’ Park gift card and then meet virtually with Ms. Karen and Mr. Alex to talk about how to responsibly save, spend, and share money. This program is designed for children ages 5-8 and their families. Siblings are welcome.
The four weekly meetings will take place on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM via Zoom, starting on February 17. Registration is required and supplies are limited. Families can register by calling the library at 724-539-1972 or visiting during our regular business hours.
Once registered, each family will need to pick up their bag of supplies at our front desk or curbside pickup! Each bag will include the materials, craft supplies, and a snack for each session. Families that complete all four weeks of this pilot program, and the accompanying survey, will receive an Amazon gift card.
