Guide on how to borrow Westmoreland County museum passes!!

Loan Rules

  • Get free access to our wonderful Westmoreland County museums: Bushy Run Battlefield, Historic Hannah’s Town, Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department Museum, West Overton Village, the Lincoln Highway Experience, The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, and Fort Ligonier!
  • Borrow from us (either at Adams or Caldwell) then use the passes to gain free admission to the museums for two adults and up to four children!
  • A library card is required to access this resource.
  • Checkout Period: 7-days
    • Passes are first come, first serve.
    • Passes cannot be placed on hold.
    • Passes cannot be renewed.
  • Overdue Fines: $100 fee if passes are not returned

These passes are only available for a certain time!  Please check with the library for availability!

Bushy Run Battlefield  (Open All Year)

Fort Ligonier  (Seasonal: Open April – November)

Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department Museum (Limited Hours)

Historic Hanna’s Town  (Seasonal: Only open May – October)

Description: Established in 1773, Hanna’s Town was the site of the first seat of government for Westmoreland County and hosted the first English courts west of the Allegheny Mountains, signaling settlers foothold on the Pennsylvania frontier and the push to move west!

 

Lincoln Highway Experience  (Open All Year)

The Westmoreland County Museum of American Art  (Open All Year)

West Overton Village  (Seasonal: Only open May – October)
