Sensory Corner added to AML!

We’re excited to share our latest inclusive feature: The Sensory Corner!

We’re proud to announce that our Sensory Corner is now open upstairs at Adams near the audiobook section. Intended to be a calming space for when you’re feeling overstimulated, the space contains soft seating, noise-cancelling headphones, and special sensory objects to help you refocus your attention and quiet your racing thoughts. In the corner is also where you will now find our books on the topics of autism, ADHD, and related reading.

A few more sensory pieces will be installed shortly in the corner, as well as in the Children’s room and at our branch, Caldwell Memorial Library.
