Tuesday, January 27 — Foiled by Snow AGAIN
Apologies for the length of this post. Rather than making repeated announcements as weather and road conditions continue to change, please assume the library remains closed until we post an official reopening notice.
Despite the hard work of road crews, the volume of snow continues to create difficult and uneven travel conditions across the county, especially on secondary roads. Library staff are reporting significant differences in road safety depending on location.
We hope to reopen Adams Memorial Library on Tuesday, January 27. However, it is likely we will be operating with reduced staff. As a result, some services may be limited (for example, we may only be able to open the upper floor and not the children’s floor). Caldwell Memorial Library will be closed because the school campus is closed.
Because we do not expect to have sufficient staff for both morning and afternoon shifts, we would not open before 12:00 noon at the earliest. Again, please assume we are closed unless you see an update announcing that we are open, or by calling to confirm before you venture out. Please stay safe! We can’t wait to see you again soon!
